Get ready for an exciting evening of running, teamwork and community spirit at the Halfway Toyota George ACVV Relay on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

Brought to you by Halfway Toyota George and Outeniqua Harriers, the relay proudly supports ACVV George and welcomes business teams, running clubs, high schools and primary schools.

Gather your team of six and take on the 6 km relay, with each participant completing 1 km. Whether you’re racing for the win or simply joining in for a fun evening with your team, it’s a great opportunity to get active while supporting a good cause.

• 6 runners/walkers per team
• 1 km per participant
• 6 km total
• Mixed male and female teams welcome
• Minimum age: 12 years

Entry fee: R100 per person / R600 per team

Remember to keep your payment receipt as proof of entry.
Race numbers, timing chips and batons can be collected at Halfway Toyota George between 13:00 and 17:00 on race day.

🎉 Prize Giving & Lucky Draws
Prize giving will take place approximately 15 minutes after the last finisher, expected at around 20:00, at 72 York Street, George.
Teams are responsible for collecting their own prizes. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
There will also be lucky draws on the night — you need to be present to win!

🚦 Race Information
The relay is held under the rules of ASA and Athletics SWD.

Please note:
Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Stay on sidewalks unless directed otherwise by marshals.
No earphones are permitted.
No animals or wheeled assistance are allowed.
The sixth runner’s baton contains the timing chip and must be returned after the race.
Refreshments, first aid and ablution facilities will be available.
