Advertise your local business on toodoo
Do you have a business in the Garden Route area that you would like to advertise to a captive audience?
toodoo is offering local businesses an opportunity to advertise – for a limited time we will offer these at highly reduced rates.
The terms are simple:
- You have to have a local business in the Garden Route
- Minimum of three months
- Launch rates are only applicable until November 2022
- Early Bird - Peak Season rates are only available until Mar 2023
- Local ads will be shown first
- Only real ads that offer a real product or service
Ad categories
To keep the ads relevant we will take preference for ads that fit a specific category.
For example; a boat renting company’s ad would take preference on the Boating Activities section.
If you have a business that don’t fall under our current category list (such as restaurants) then your ad will be classified as a General ad.
General ads will also be shown on any page and the order will be based on a first come-first serve basis with category adverts always showing first (unless none is present) with a maximum amount of 3 ads per category.
All category-specific ads will be ALSO be shown on generic pages such as the homepage. (only during Launch and Early Bird periods)
The categories are:
- Activities
- Boating (Motorized, Kayaks, Renting)
- Fishing
- Beach
- Golfing
- Kids Entertainment
- Short Walks
- Events
- Camping
- Sightseeing
- Homepage (Mixed Categories)
Launch and Early Bird Rates
Because we can not guarantee any sort of traffic during the early stages of launch we are offering local business advertising at a severely reduced rate.
During the peak season of 2022-2023 we offer Early Bird Rates which is a severely reduced rate and will likely not be repeated.
Note that Local adverts will be shown first in all instances unless no local ads are available for that section.
- Launch rates are valid from 1 December 2022 until 30 November 2023, your ad will show during those times only.
- Early Bird rates are valid from 1 December until 31 Mar 2024.
The rates are:
- Launch
R200/pm per category for a minimum of 3 months - Early Bird
R350/pm per category for a minimum of 3 months.
Ad specs
Please supply a Desktop AND Mobile version of your ad
Desktop version: JPG, PNG or GIF image at 250 X 250px (square format) and it needs to be smaller than 500kb (which is plenty).
Mobile version: JPG, PNG or GIF image at 350 X 75px (square format) and it needs to be smaller than 200kb.
If you provide us with an image at any other dimension we will use our own discretion on how to crop it.
Likewise, if you send us an image that has a file size exceeding 500KB we will optimize the file on your behalf.
NO Animated GIFS will be accepted without prior consent.
