Explore the beautiful Mossel Bay beach town on a budget by taking a stroll along the point.
Visit an octopus at the very tiny-but-quaint Shark lab. Don’t expect Cape Town Aquarium, but you can see a few ‘Nemos’ and smooth-hound sharks.
Spot a ‘dassie’ around the point rocks or snorkel in the rock pools below. You can walk up to Cape St Blaize – also known as Bat’s Cave for whale spotting or to watch the adventurous zip-line across the rocks below.
Mossel Bay’s Point has some cute stalls, and ice cream stops. Take a walk to Delfinos for a pizza and beer. Shhhh – Just around the corner from Delfinos, you will find the best rock pools and snorkel spots when it’s low tide. These pools are dog friendly too!
