Paddle beneath the full moon on the beautiful Goukamma River with Blackwaters River Lodge. This unforgettable guided evening adventure includes hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and the chance to spot wildlife and glow worms along the river.

Experience the magic of the Goukamma River beneath the glow of the full moon during this unforgettable guided canoe adventure at Blackwaters River Lodge.

As dusk settles over the river, you’ll paddle through peaceful waterways while keeping an eye out for glow worms, birds, fish and other wildlife that come alive after sunset. Along the way, your guides will stop for a warming cup of homemade hot chocolate before continuing the journey back under the moonlit sky.

Life jackets and canoes are provided, making this a fun and memorable outing for couples, families and nature lovers alike.

What to bring:
Wet shoes (highly recommended)
Head torch or flashlight
Towel
Insect repellent
Warm, dry clothes for afterwards

Please note: River conditions vary depending on whether the river mouth is open, so some trips may include getting out of the canoe briefly in certain areas.
