Lace up your running shoes for one of the Garden Route’s most scenic road races! The Fancourt Marathon returns on Saturday, 17 October 2026, offering runners the choice of a 42.2km Full Marathon or a 21.1km Half Marathon through the spectacular landscapes surrounding Fancourt and George.

The marathon begins with an unforgettable sunrise as runners make their way through The Links Experience and The Links Golf Course, before tackling rolling tar roads, gravel sections, dairy farms, berry farms, and the beautiful countryside surrounding George.

Half marathon participants enjoy a rewarding route that climbs Strawberry Hill before joining the marathon runners on the final stretch back into Fancourt for a memorable finish.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply running for the incredible scenery, this event promises a rewarding challenge and a fantastic race-day atmosphere.
