Transnet Transport Museum

Take a stroll through transport history, which exhibits an impressive collection of things that go vroom-vroom, choo-choo, and beep-bop.

An ideal morning outing for transport enthusiasts of all ages.

The museum has various locomotives, fire engines, plane models, boats, a fantastic collection of privately owned vintage cars, and all the trinkets and silverware accompanying railway travel. It also hosts the first locomotive that was in service in 1889.

Kids and grown-ups love the miniature railway town with working model trains that have been lovingly assembled by railway club members. You can spend the morning studying all the details created to tell all kinds of quirky stories.

The venue is available for hire and is an excellent weatherproof solution for kids’ birthday parties or corporate functions.
