Walk the Salt River Mouth trail at Nature's Valley

A mildly challenging trail leads around Nature’s Valley’s beautiful coastline into the lush forest, past a breathtaking lagoon to the top of a cliff with many photo opportunities along the way.

When you start the trail, you can decide to start with the viewpoint OR start with the beach to your left. We recommend starting with the beach (keep left) and stopping at the lookout point at the end. Doing this will reveal the lagoon to you in a special way, and you will get the difficult rocky parts out of the way early. It may also depend on the tides; some parts of the beach walk are submerged during high tide.

The lagoon is where you want to stop for your picnic. It has a “The Beach” vibe, the famous movie with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The route to the top is tough but not too challenging for a 9-year-old kid. When you finally reach the top of the lookout point, you are rewarded with a splendid 180-degree view of Nature’s Valley.

Tips:
Remember the tides! You cannot cross certain parts with high tide.
