If you feel the need to escape with your family into a wild paradise – then the Nature’s Valley campsite is as good as it gets. Situated in a remote part of the Tsitsikamma Coastal and covered with lush woodland next to the Groot River and about 30 – 40 minutes drive from Bitou(Plett).
Ideal for the family in need of some time away from any kind of hustle. Most of the campsites are tugged between lush bush and trees which gives every campsite a much more private feeling compared to most of the other campsites in the region. This is why it is ideal for families who need to escape the social and material trappings of society.
It’s the kind of place where you can feel yourself relaxing the longer you stay. There is plenty to see and do at this exquisite SANParks campsite whether you are into bird-watching, hiking, or just enjoying nature. When you feel like a break in your wild routine take a 10-minute drive to the local restaurant “The Valley In” and spend the day swimming and sunbathing on the beach.
Word of caution. Baboons do occasionally roam through the camp so never leave food in the open.
You could easily spend a week at the Nature’s Valley campsite before you start missing ‘the finer things in life.
