Visit the Glentana Shipwreck

Take out ye' pirate jokes buccaneer, and walk ye to the shipwreck of Baralong!

Okay, this isn’t actually a pirate shipwreck with treasure and the legend of a brutal sea captain, but it is still a shipwreck. We can pretend, if only for our own entertainment, with young children who are often so easily amused!

It is a short 10-minute beach stroll to the shipwreck with young kids. Plenty of cave-like experiences on the way. Definitely worth seeing the 117-year-old wreck. You could quickly turn this into a pirate at sea day event if you put some effort into it.

It is important to check the tides before you go on this walk, as some parts of the walk are submerged during high tide.
