A bit of a well-kept secret, these hidden gardens in the heart of Knysna. Once entering the gardens you are transported to thick lush forest smells, with small rivers and streams. A beautiful walk, with little roads that can be enjoyed by oumas and oupas. Lots of small benches to rest and enjoy the peace and quiet of the reserve.
Over 300 indigenous flora and plant species are currently in the reserve and many small mammals, reptiles and amphibians are found in the Reserve. If quiet enough perhaps you can spot some small buck, porcupines and even a spotted genet to name a few.
