Not sure what to do with the family on a windy day? Discover the magic of the Victoria Heights Animal and Reptile Park in George. This animal and reptile park is perfectly positioned on the N2 going to Wilderness and a chance to get up close and personal with reptiles in all shapes and sizes.
The guides are incredibly well-informed about all the species, although sometimes the snakes come too close for comfort. It’s an excellent way for kids to interact with giant pythons and non-venomous snakes and learn about the venomous ones – such as puff-adders and the feared Black Mamba.
Located just a short drive from the city centre, this incredible park is home to a wide variety of animals, including reptiles, birds, mammals, and even some exotic species from around the world. Whether you’re a nature lover, an animal enthusiast, or just looking for a fun day out with the family, you’ll find something to love at the reptile park.
One of the park’s highlights is the Reptile House, where visitors can get up close and personal with some of the reptiles. From enormous pythons to small geckos, there is a wide range of species to see and learn about. You’ll also have the chance to see snakes being fed, which is always a fascinating experience.
Visitors even have the chance to hold a baby alligator!
A great way to get the family to learn more about reptiles and overcome their fear of snakes. Bookings essential for tours.
Tips: I really great place to visit with a group of friends or even a kids birthday party. Great photo opportunities!
