THE DAY OUR BRAS RAN WITH US…

Last Friday 22 Oct a bunch of girls… and a few brave men…ran rampant in their bras down the quaint but “very public” 4th Avenue of Parkhurst in Aid of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Toodoo bra-ed up with The Breast Health Foundation, The Pink Peddlers, Sly Media and Playtex for this little renegade mission.

What began as a pretty nerve wracking event…to put it mildly….built up into a warm n fuzzy feel good campaign of 250 fuelled-up bra walkers of all shapes and sizes, 40 of which were breast cancer survivors and top celeb Dr Carol Benn!!!

Thanks to all the funky and fearless topless attendees that braved it up. And to all those who keep asking….ja were definitely thinking of doing this on a yearly basis but for now, at least we’ve got something that we can all snigger about for years to come!!!

    Such fun! So liberating! :-) To Louise, Carmen and everybody else that helped organise this awesome event, you girls rock! What say next year we walk a little further? We were just getting into th eswing of things!

    What an amazing out the box idea. Thanks Sandra for approaching us looneys to do this… Thank goodness we are not from the cervical cancer group! May this be the first of many BRA events…
    To all those who showed their bra’s – you are our inspiration at the BHF to keep doing what we do.

    Woohoo! TX for the vid Sly guys! Yes, next year a few of us must lead this with a proper run (with bits bouncing!) and end it with a minute of berserk Vuvu blowing or something!
